A Week of Dog- and Sistersitting

Hi! I spent the last week in my family’s holiday house, along with my boyfriend, lil’ sister and two dogs (mine – Bayonne, and my boyfriend’s – Peggy). My parents went on a holiday for that week and I was to take care of Bayonne (and lil’ sister, haha). I invited my boyfriend to stay for the week, who brought his dog as well. All five of us were having so much fun. :) I wanted to share some photos we took…

I also want to apologise for not posting, but I’ve been studying for the uni, reading Harry Potter (I love it) and just enjoying myself; therefore I didn’t really have the time to post anything.

The dogs are friends with each other, but Peggy is an old lady (she’s 11) and sometimes couldn’t stand Bayonne, who wanted to play with her all the time. And also, Bayonne is too big for her to play with, I reckon.

The photos above are from the first day, when we were at my granny’s for lunch. The girls had plenty of time to get to know closer.

We went to funfair, which takes place annually in the near town. It was so much fun. However, we took only a few rides, because neither me nor my boyfriend enjoy those which turn round and round like crazy in all directions and when you get on the ground you are sick. We bought a crushed ice drink each and he even got me a heart-shaped gingerbread with colourful topping. Then we took a nice walk in the park and enjoyed the sunny weather.

Bayonne always stole my spot on the blanket.

The photo above is from the day after we went to the funfair. We walked by the river to the town, because my grandmother invited us for lunch. Peggy was very excited about the journey and walked (or rather ran) by herself for most of it. I was worried, because she looked tired and breathed heavily, but she didn’t let me carry her. Peggy the explorer, haha.

My aunt brought this to grandmother’s. I don’t remember where she got it, but look how cute and tiny is that!

After the lunch we went to the beach, so that the dogs could cool themselves down. Peggy didn’t want to go to the water and Bayonne wouldn’t go anywhere without me. She’s kind of scared of unknown waters, because she doesn’t see the bottom and therefore she can’t know if it’s out of her depth or not.

These are all the photos we took. I apologise for the quality. My parents took the camera with them and we had to take photos with our mobile phones.

Have a beautiful day! Bye bye!
