Leafy & Lovely Summer Meadow Hand Lotion

I got this hand lotion from my friend Veronika as a Christmas present. I started using it some time in April and I just fell in love – I use it every single day and I’m already more than a halfway through!

Firstly, the packaging. How cute is it? It’s in a handbag size yellow tube with the logo of Leafy & Lovely, which is oh so vintage, I love it.

Secondly, the scent. When I read the name Summer Meadow for the first time, I didn’t really know what to expect – what exactly does a summer meadow smell like? But after actually smelling the product I was pretty amazed. It has a mixture of floral and herbal scents, so to me personally it’s like a fresh bouquet of wild flowers, which you would put in a vase and place on a dining table on a Sunday morning.

In addition, this lotion is cruelty free and vegan, which is awesome.

The thing with me about hand lotions is, when I want to moisturize my hands (which is always before bed and sometimes in the morning), I want the rich effect, which lasts throughout the whole night, but also doesn’t leave this annoying film of moisture, which is never absorbed. And I imagine I’m not alone in this, because who wants oily hands, am I right? So, this hand lotion does this perfectly right – it’s absorbed immediately into my skin and leaves me with a silky soft feeling for the whole night and that’s just bananas.

Thank you, Veronika, for this amazing spa Christmas present. You know me very well and you always get the gifting part right, haha!
